Acharavi
Acharavi is a several kilometres long stretch of sandy beach with small pebbles. The entry into the sea is gentle and shallow (several dozens of metres long), so it can be enjoyed also by children and less experienced swimmers. The beach has umbrellas, deckchairs and showers. It has no toilets but you can use the facilities of the local bars where you can go for a small drink.
Acharavi is also a popular place among divers and the lovers of undersea world. You can go for an exciting trip to discover the underwater secrets using only a snorkel, or use the services of the local diving schools in case you want to see the beauties of the sea depths from near. Yet the beach can be enjoyed by the lovers of other water sports, including water skiing, windsurfing or a ride on a rent motorboat.

The beach can be found in a resort of the same name located in the northernmost point of Corfu, which belongs, together with the resorts of Sidari and Roda to the popular tourist sites visited by dozens of thousand sof people every year. It could be said Acharavi is a kind of a capital of the northern part of the island, offering wide range of services not only for the tourists but also for the locals.
