Armeos Resort

The place called Armeos stretches along the west coast of Kalymnos, and it is popular mainly among the lovers of mountain climbing, since all the rock routes for climbers pass through the place. Yet at the sime time, it provides all the necessary comfort in terms of accommodation and catering, and so it is an ideal compromise between active holiday and rest. On the top of that, some of the local hotels offer an especially beautiful view on the sea surface and the mountain ranges heading towards the island interior, so when you are not climbing in the mountains or bathing in the sea, you can at least enjoy the unique atmosphere of this magical place. In the distance amidst the sea waters, you can see the small island of Telendos that once belonged to Kalymnos Island until they were divided by a volcanic eruption many years ago.
