Agios Georgios north
Agios Georgios Resort
The Agios Georgios resort in the north (there is also another Agios Georgios in the south) has a unique location - it can be found in the mouth of 2.5 km wide green valley, with a splendid sandy beach stretching all over its length. On its sides, the valley is lined by about 150 m high hils stretching towards the sea on more than 2 kilometres. The whole valley and the nearby hills are woody, with the especially interesting and very old olive trees and cypresses.
The beauty of Agios Georgios is also empasized by the fact that the resort is very peaceful and untouched by mass tourism. Although you can find there everything you might need on your holiday, including tavernas, restaurants, minimarkets, souvernirs shops, billiard and bowling halls, Agios Georgios has been spared excessive noise and nightlife. If you need nightlife, discos and clubs, you will need to look for anonther resort or make a trip e.g. to the nearby resorts of Sidari or Roda (which lack the peace and charm of a calm place though).
In Agios Georgios, there are tavernas where you can connect to the internet. You can also rent there a boat, a bicycle, a scooter, a motorbike or a car.
