The Gialos Beach can be characterized very simply - it is long and wide, being about 30-50 m wide and 4.5 km long stretch of land. The beach surface is formed by sand and tiny pebbles. The water there is very clean, yet there are bigger waves often. The beach is surrounded by high hills, with a road from the island interior passing through them, ending approximately in the half of the beach. Towards the north, there is a path along the beach leading to its very end. Given that the southern part is calmer, there are not so many people, and so, you can find there a calm place where no one will disturb you and where you can enjoy (sun)bathing in peace.
