Porto Katsiki

Porto Katsiki is one of the most beautiful beaches on Lefkada. It is a long sandy beach surrounded by high white cliffs. You can get there by car (then you need to walk down from the car park on several  dozens of stairs), or by boat from Vassiliki or Nidri. The romanticism of the place is a bit spoiled by the fact that during the top season the beach is very overcrowded, as it is one of the main tourist attractions of Lefkada. In Porto Katsiki you can refresh yourself in the tavernas above the beach. If you decide to visit the resort, it is recommended to arrive as soon as possible, as the access road is often crowded by tourists; especially during the top season.

Once you are in this area, visit also the beach of Egremni, or go to the very south to the tip of the island to see the beautiful cliffs of the Akratas lighthouse.
