Xi settlement

The tiny settlement of Xi with a beach of the same name is located in the south of the Paliki peninsula. The resort has emerged for its beautiful beach, tempting the lovers of summer sunbathing and swimming in the sea. As far as accommodation facilities are concerned, those are mostly private ones. Don´t expect a network of huge hotel complexes and luxury hotel compounds there (although there is one rather big hotel to be seen). Xi is a rather intimate place for families and couples searching for a modest place to relax.

Xi beaches

The long beach of Xi has an interesting deep yellow colour, with orange or even reddish here and there. Thanks to its beneficial effects for skin and muscles, the local sand is even used for spa procedures. Another asset of the beach is its seabed, sloping down to the seabed very gently. The beach is quite busy due to the influx of tourists, yet in its surroundings you can find many romantic bays with white limestone rocks providing both a unique view on the sea but also complete privacy. You will find there umbrellas, deckchairs, and some water sports including water skiing or riding a banana boat. On the beach you can play beach volleyball, too. You can refresh yourself in the surrounding bars and buy basic stuff in several little shops.
